Project Steps:
-
Step 1:
Place the Fadeless® Designs Paper on the wall. Add any decorative baseboard pieces or other accessories, such as anchor charts, posters and artwork. Our example uses anchor charts that are framed with Bordette® Decorative Border.
Note: We used double-sided tape to adhere the paper to the wall, but depending on the texture of your walls, you may need to find an alternative adhesive.
-
Step 2:
Build the tree. Use chicken wire to build the basic trunk shape and any branches you'd like. For stability attach the chicken wire structure to the ceiling with string or nylon filament. Then cover the tree trunk and branches with strips kraft paper.
-
Step 3:
Create leaves by cutting out various sized leaf shapes from Green Tru-Ray® Construction Paper.
Note: We used varying shades of Green, however you could use Reds, Oranges, Yellows and Browns to create an Autumn look.
-
Step 4:
Glue leaves along varying lengths with string or nylon filament and hang from the ceiling and tree.
-
Step 5:
Set up the rest of the space with soft chairs, bookshelves, tables and other accents. Don't forget the books!
